With all of that happening to the Titans in Week 12, new head coach Mike Vrabel hopes that things will be better this week. Of course, that would be helped if Marcus Mariota was at 100 percent, which he may not be while dealing with an arm injury. Even still, the Tennessee defense will need to come up big, which will be aided by the debut of edge rusher Harold Landry.
The defense needs to come to play because Deshaun Watson is coming to town. The second-year Texans quarterback was a beast before tearing his ACL last year. Though that wasn’t wholly the case last week in a loss to New England, he can still come up big. His biggest hindrance could be the offensive line in front of him though. If they don’t give him time, it’s going to be bad news.
Mariota suffered a stinger last week against the Colts, but was removed from the injury report this week and will start on Monday Night Football. He’s fresh off throwing four touchdowns and no interceptions in back-to-back victories against the Cowboys and Patriots.
